ProductRoom

Research-based, results-driven UX guidance and training

Welcome to Product Room. A 6-month product coaching programme for early-stage startups. Individual, evidence-based, built around your product.

Approach
i.
Evidence over assumptions
Briology converts product knowledge into operational intelligence - vision, goals, feedback, design decisions, market analysis, competitor research, qualitative insights, and behavioral data become active inputs for both designers and agents, shaping every recommendation, specification, experience, and implementation decision.
ii.
Real product, real code
Design and build go together - from definition to shipped feature.
iii.
Retention as the metric
Product Design & Engineering should own retention.
iv.
Briology as memory
When new behavior contradicts an assumption, the system traces it back to the original evidence, surfaces the affected decisions, and shows exactly what needs to change and why - keeping design evolution grounded in real user outcomes.

Briologyknows your product.

The layer between your thinking and the implemented product. It knows your company, service & product, definitions, requirements, vision, goals, holds your taste, and makes every output match both.

What it does

Product Design & Engineering should own retention. The #1 reason customers leave is experience failure - broken onboarding, unmet expectations, unnecessary friction.

4 LAYERS
Vision
Defines the product's purpose, target users, core principles, and boundaries. Serves as a reference point for product and design decisions, helping the team stay aligned over time.
Field
Captures ongoing user and stakeholder input, including interviews, feedback, behavioral data, and usage patterns. In the absence of direct user access, decisions are informed by existing research, comparable products, and design judgment. Personas and user journeys are updated as new evidence becomes available.
Roadmap
Tracks upcoming work and the rationale behind prioritization decisions. Maintains a record of key product and design choices, making them easy to revisit and understand later. Helps identify and manage tradeoffs between competing priorities.
Features
Documents feature requirements, goals, expected usage, implementation considerations, and open questions. Briology's Spec Translator converts design artifacts and briefs into structured Claude Code prompts, including relevant context, constraints, and patterns to support faster and more accurate implementation.

Agents
CapabilityWhat it does
Client MemoryKnows each client's design system, code, patterns, and history. Loads automatically - company vision, market data, retention thesis, persona goals, funnel analytics, users & stakeholders feedback.
Spec TranslatorTurns a Figma sketch + brief into a rich Claude Code prompt.
Variation EngineGenerates real code variations to compare and refine.
Consistency CheckerFlags inconsistencies across screens, components, and decisions.
Decision LogRecords every design decision with reasoning, queryable later.
Pattern LibraryYour taste, encoded - patterns Briology pulls from when generating output.

Activity Plan
Canvas

Your upcoming first session is mostly about building the right plan to reach your goals. We’ll fill this in together: company goals, session plan, expected deliverables.
Before we meet, add anything you already know or want, so we start from your thinking rather than a blank page. Everything here is optional, fill in only what you feel ready to answer.

Names and roles of the people attending sessions
Users, activation, retention, revenue, pipeline, whatever you measure.
Could you point out any product direction, concept or approach you started and stopped, and what made you stop?
The more specific, the better: list your expectations from the Product Room Program.
e.g. X active users, X% retention after 30 days
Investor meetings, launches, funding rounds, conference demos…
Name and role, and whether they will be in the sessions
Within a week, a month, or not easily

Fill in anything you already know you want. Anything you leave blank, we’ll work out together.

  • Drag a phase heading to change where that phase begins.
  • Skip anything that you think doesn’t apply to you.
